i) A seed may be
defined as mature and fertilized ovule containing an embryo under dormant
state.

i) Any part of the
plants either vegetative or reproductive which is capable of producing a new
plant of the same kind.

ii) All kind of plants
produce these seeds.

ii) Only phanerogamous
plants produce these seeds.
|
iii) All botanical
seeds aren’t agricultural seed.
|
iii) All agricultural
seed are botanical seed
|
iv) This definition is
narrow. E.g. rice seed, wheat seed etc.
|
iv) This definition is
broad. E.g. sugarcane sett, potato tuber etc.
