The availability of favorable soil and climate I different region of the country makes it possible for the production of important ornamental flower crops almost all through the year is some parts of country with the growing facilities of tree plantation by road soil and air the availability of flower at different places in the country has now improved; so its scope is also improved.

      1.      Perfume industry:
The cultivation of rose and jasmine are in perfumery industry. Their need in perfumery trade in the cosmetic market as well as in the food industry is continuously growing.

2.      Cut flower:
However several improved cultivars have developed in Rose, Gladiolus, Chrysanthemum  point of view. The demand for cut flower particularly is increasing in the developed countries. For sample, Germany which is the biggest consumer and importer of cut flower.

3.      Proper use of waste land
In our country around our houses, colleges, road etc. there are considerable area of waste land, these lands are suitable to make ornamental plants if we take a little care, there is a great scope to make this garden.

4.      Earn foreign currency:
In many countries of the world flowers are grown for lacking of proper atmospheric condition. So satisfying our domestic demand we have a great scope of exporting flowers to these countries. Thus we may earn foreign currency.

5.      Solution to unemployment problem:
Comparatively more worker are required in the ornamental plant production. So there creates a scope of utilizing excess labor that may lead to our unemployment problem.

6.      Growth and development of new industry:
Many flowers are seasonal, so all of the flowers are not found throughout the year. Therefore to make available all sorts of flower throughout the year, flower processing industry are developed in advanced countries. Recently on our country processing flower is getting motion.

14.  Environmental importance:
They play an important role in improving environment. Some ornamental trees have formed to be useful preventing air pollution. They also provide shade and create better micro-climate.

Rose, orchid, gladiolus, tube rose recently in our country. The attempt of processing flowers is getting motion.
